The customer shaved his head and he wanted a hat that would look like hair from a distance, but when you got up close, you could see that it was a hat.
The base of the hat is crocheted in cotton yarn, and then a flap in fake fur yarn buttons to the top.
The customer provided precise measurements for the sideburns and the nape "hair," as well as the usual head circumference and hat depth.
I wish I'd taken a photo of the finished hat. All I have is this one with yarn ends hanging down.
I wonder if this style is the opposite of "Hat Hair." . . .
