Donna, a crochet stitch expert (who very modestly points out that she's a self-taught crocheter), says she's never seen my new version of half-double-crochet ribbing.
This is the stitch I wrote about in my previous post. It's a more refined ribbing that uses the upper post of hdc stitches instead of the usual post.
Above is a photo showing the wrong side of the ribbing, which is also nice.
The most descriptive name I'm come up with so far is Upper Post Ribbing. But I think Spareribs would be a cute nickname!
