I think I've crocheted more blue hats than any other color. These are a few of the blue hats I've made over the past three years. Since 2010, I've crocheted a LOT of hats. I haven't been keeping an exact count of how many, but based on the numbers of
-- hats currently for sale in my Etsy shop, and those in the process of being listed for sale,
-- hats sold in my Etsy shop,
-- hats donated (chemo caps, preemie hats and church-sale beanies),
-- and design-test hats,
I recently came up with an estimate of 700. Etsy hats are the biggest segment, with more than 500.
As you can imagine, all these hats later, I've found out a lot about crochet and hats. And yarn. And sizing.
So my next 10 blog posts are going to be about these discoveries, starting next week with "The Dark Side of Slip Stitch."
